Fire On The Mountain! 2022!

FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN ’21 was blessed by great company and good weather! About 18 Buses came which was the same as 2020.

The Weekend for FOTM 2022 is the third weekend, 15-17 September, but of course there are always a few of us there earlier than that. Many people showed up on Thursday in 21!

This campout is in North Georgia.

1) The flow of traffic is changed. Loop one is no longer reliably accessible (by bus) from Loop two. That means one must pass the old entrance, drive another half mile or so, and enter loop one there. (Unless the gate is open...) A drive up the hill finds the loo on the top on the left. It confused several of us in 2019.

2) The gates may be closed at night, so reconsider late arrivals if possible.

3) VERISON signal is abundant, there is phone service! Have fellow camper’s numbers in case you arrive late…

This is a child and dog friendly campout and we tend to be on the mellow side.

The Campground does not accept reservations until six months before the date desired. Begin booking at the end of March 2021!
