Greetings!
I have been asked to do a solo quilt show at the Folklife Festival at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture at ABAC. (gma.abac.edu) the show will run from 23 January 2026 until 23 May 2026 but there will be a special day on Saturday 5 April in conjunction with the Folklife Festival and the Wiregrass Quilt Guild's quilt show.
It would be lovely to have a lot of buses on that Saturday at the show! We will have places to display our buses near the venue and all who participate will be fed and get a commemorative t-shirt.
I will provide camping at my house (big backyard) for the weekend.
Kids are welcome at the Festival as well! They have a train ride (full size old train!) they run the Turpentine Still (only one left in GA) there is a steam powered sawmill with demonstrations, mule plowing demonstrations, a working blacksmith, hay rides, live music, face painting, an antique tractor show, lots of old buildings to explore and about the best ice cream I have tasted!
So please consider driving your bus down and having some fun!
This will be a one time campout.
And if you want to come a little early and stay a little late that is fine with me!
