Wedding Anniversary Camp Out (updated with directions)

We had so much fun last year we decided to have another campout to celebrate our anniversary at "WP" Wanderlust Plantation (25 minutes South of Charleston, SC)

This will be a prelude for the 21st Anniversary Campout May 2020.  Same location, different season.  For those that haven't yet experienced WP, this is your chance to scope out a site for the 21st FMBC Anniversary Campout.  We're cutting in new camping areas all the time, if you see a place you might want to camp that hasn't yet been opened up, let's see what we can do.

I hope you like to sleep to the sounds of hundreds of different types of frogs.  They put on a nightly concert and can out party anyone.  

Bathhouse is available (flushing toilets included)  Well water is available but I don't recommend drinking it.  

Limited Electricity, plan ahead with LONG extension cords if you need it.

Wooded sites as well as the field.  Nature Trails on the property with lots of options for day trips if you desire.  

We'll have a few designated communal fire rings and firewood will be provided or can be found easily on the property.

Directions:  Use GPS to get you close to twenty three twenty one Sadie Lane  Wadmalaw Island, SC   It will bring you to Maybank Highway.  The turn off is just over 9 miles once you get on the island.  When you see Edith L Frierson School, slow down.  In about 100 yards you will see some beautiful orange cannalillies on the left.  You will see the sign for Sadie Lane, turn left.  Now, time to start ignoring the GPS.  Follow this dirt road as it bends left and then into the woods and right.  Follow the road and take the first right you will see a sign for 2321 with an arrow pointing right, that's us.  Pull to the end or find your spot.
