FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN used to be one my favorite campouts, but due to weather the last 2 years it hasn't happened at the Lake Rabun Beach campground in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest.

Camping Fees

Single Campsite: 5 persons & 2 vehicles, $18

Single Campsite with 30 amp electric, water at site $29

The site did not have the campground map. Here it is. We are in loop #1 primitive. If you want electric you would have to reserve in loop 2. The campground is now part of the Cradle of Forestry and has slowly became a little bit more popular.
