Doesn't have a catalytic convertor.

Have a 78 westy fuel injected (obviously) that stalls going uphill. Also acts like it wants to stall if i floor it on flat ground.

Fuel filter or crud in the tank are the first two things that pop in my head when I see the "uphill" and "floor it".
FI doesn't care for being sporadic....it likes it's juice and spark consistent.

It has been a long time since I have been on this forum.Good to hear from you.
Once it stalls on the hill it starts right up and if I feather the clutch an give it gas I can creep off the hill and she is back to running good again.
Collie, do ya still thinke it is the tank or filter?
