Hello from Lyndhurst (east of CLE), I just picked up this 84 Adventurewagen. Pulled a lot of parts from a junked Westy so now I have a Westy camper interior and some extra parts but much more work to do. My wife drove it from Humboldt CA back home to us with no problems so I'm pretty stoked (as my people say) . Definitely want to meet more VW people over here. I'm a transplant from Humboldt myself.
I posted on theSamba and was directed here because I am looking to swap the camper style back seat and cabinetry for a weekender style back seat and the cabinetry to make it fit. Having child safety seats really creates a demand for a longer couch. I figure I'll put a water tank somewhere else. Anyone live around Lyndhurst Id love to say hi.
