reworking jalousie windows | Forum

The jalousie windows (bay window crank out center windows) on my bus need to be rebuilt.  I ordered a new crank  https://www.windowdoorparts.com/...-operator-left-hand/ $10 cheaper than bus depot, note that they are handed.

I also have the new seals (these are cheapest at Bus Depot).

  I've sanded and polished the aluminum and am ready to put it all back together.  on the window slats, I have put the seal on the glass but when I try and put it in the metal frame, the seal comes off.  Does anyone have any tips?
