I am in the process of making and installing new door panels on my late bay Westy. I am doing away with the armrest/door pulls and installing early bay style strap pulls, since I have Vanny seats and they have armrests attached. What I cant seem to find is info on how the straps are anchored into the door. There is a hole where the screws would go, but the hole is bigger than the one on the strap handle so it makes sense that there would be an anchor for the screw to grab. The anchors for the armrest/handles that are on there now do not fit the holes and wont work. Anyone know?

Thanks! DFV

Not exactly where you're going but...  I just made new door panels and instead of fighting with lining up the the original metal clips in to the hole, I used this type of plug.  It makes it so much easier to remove and install the door panel.  https://store.ilantee.com/...yEAQYAiABEgItdfD_BwE

I'll see if I can find the clips the strap attaches when I get home.
