I have a customers car in for its second timing belt job today that I have done. I put a new head on it and belt 100k ago due to a broken belt. I thought 300k was up there. I am at 260k on my Golf. While on TDI saw photos of a 1998 tdi Beetle with 900k original engine trans still in car it was in for a timing belt job. WOW. That TDI conversion on my Bay is gonna be awsome.
