I would like a mobile version of the FMBC site, even if it meant losing ALL data and starting over.

Yes, it is uber important.

No, leave it as is please.

I am on the fence.

Hi! My name is Carol. I am looking for a reliable and reasonably priced VW mechanic in the Savannah GA area. I have a 1971 bus that has dead AZ tags and a salvage title. I need to have it inspected in order to license it. To pass inspection it needs to have the blinkers fixed, neither works, they did in the beginning (4years ago) then, something happened and they stopped. Need to make sure the brake lights are good too. My horn needs to work and my right windshield wipers needs some minor stuff done to it. I haven't been able to drive it for almost 2 years but she runs well, just needs to get rolling again. Anyone know where I can find help? I'm use to having my bus family in Tucson around and never having her idle for long but, I don't personally know anyone on the east coast. Once I get her rolling, I hope to meet some of you folks at some of the camping trips in the future !

Lilly, our 91 Westy has been sick since Buses on the Rive(2010),AAA delivered her to Chriss @ Ashville VW, he medicated her and we limped home to Wilmington. Missed Every Bus and Natural Buss this year. We shipped her to upstate NY for rehab session by Vanaru. Doc Hans installed a 2.5 Subie(2,700 miles), upgraded tranny(higer 3rd/4th gears) from Darel(AA Transaxle), clutch, cv joints, complete front end rebuild. Hans and Nel`lie personally returned Lilly(952 miles). I hope to drive her soon, I broke my clutch ankle @ High Country and the Doctors screwed me back together and now another rehab. Don

I do a lot of subie work, they are bad about oil leaks, and the later ones have head gasket issues, also they are an interference motor and a lot of components are one year only and they aren't easy to rebuild. otherwise they are good motors later md

I drove Lilly yesterday---runs great, lots of power and handles very well. Perfect traveling and camping vehicle now---look forward to when Don can push the clutch in so he can drive it. Until then, I am available to serve as the pilot.
