Yes, it is uber important.

No, leave it as is please.

I am on the fence.

I have 2 "Westys", same year, same color scheme, 1 full camper and a weekender.
I am selling the weekender for $6000

or use as downpayment on a VWsynchro-camper (4x4).

I originally bought the weekender for parts for my camper, but then it kept running so well after i gave it new cylinder heads, new steering fluid pump, shocks.....

Ok. I'm always behind the ball. Nothing available at Paddy's wagon. Do they tolerate doubling up on sites? If so, anyone willing to double?

We all know Bear's guy hasnt raised prices since the Nixon administration. ( Remember the wage and price freeze?)

Anyway, theres a new owner at a local shop here who has not updated his prices yet. How does he compare?

High, very high, I wouldn't take anything to him. There is a trick shot to the high priced three angle valve job, any valve job requires a three angle cut (to center the valve in the seat), so what is so special about it, other than it being a normal valve job. I guess he make a nice living doing a few of the engines, if I used his prices to build my engines, they would run around $2000 to $2500 each. I don't think so, but I'll not be diong this much longer, the engines are hurting me to pick up and move them around.

Dude lost his mind. Linebore here is 65, dynamic balance rotating assembly including rods, pistons, crank, pulley, flywheel, and clutch set is 175, recon and rebush a set of rods is 100.

Personally I balance rods and pistons myself before sending it in for balancing so they have to take more imbalance out of the crank, pully flywheel and clutch set.
