I have 2 "Westys", same year, same color scheme, 1 full camper and a weekender.
I am selling the weekender for $6000

or use as downpayment on a VWsynchro-camper (4x4).

I originally bought the weekender for parts for my camper, but then it kept running so well after i gave it new cylinder heads, new steering fluid pump, shocks.....

Ok. I'm always behind the ball. Nothing available at Paddy's wagon. Do they tolerate doubling up on sites? If so, anyone willing to double?

Do you have spark, the distrubtor is the problem most of the timeIf you have no spart it sure wont start, if you have spark spray some starter fliud into the intake and see if it will fire with that, that is called finding out which sesten is causing the problem, Ignition or fuel system. I have a good 1.9 didtrubtor here, there is trouble shooting for the Ignition system, in the bently book.

You didnt say if you have spark. This is easily checked by plugging in a extra plug into a plug wire, laying on something metal and observing. If good try removing airfilter box from the throttle body and holding the AFM airflap open with a screwdriver

ps, 1.9s wont tolerate any vacuum lines left off

Yes, on the vacuum lines, they got me once, and I'll never forget it. Like Fred said, check them good.

if ECT2 is bad, you can unplug it, start the engine and then plug it back in and the f.i. system will drop into "limp home" mode.

Got fire and gas..still won't hit even if you spray starting fluid. It just keeps turning over.

Verify 1-4-3-2 ?
