Hey Moonies, anybody aware of where I can get my hands on a grounding diagram or schematic for 1987 Westy 2.1 . I have all manner of peculiar things going on...

coolant level light blinks, then I turn on headlights and the tach goes dead and the coolant level light goes out...and sometimes the high beam indicator light comes on....any ideas out there?

sometimes the tach goes dead when I just turn on the headlights...

????

As it turns out, I was put in touch with an "auto electrician" who proceeded to find my problem as a broken ground wire behind the instrument cluster...wasn't cheap, but wasnt tooo bad either.   Just glad the problem is fixed....
