Left turn signal stops working when I apply brake. | Forum

When I turn the signal light on it works fine till I apply the brake. It stops working. If I am in a turning lane I have a chance but if I am turning with traffic behind me I am afraid that I will get rear ended. Any suggestions on what I should check?

Grounds around rear tail light and make sure the wires aren’t touching. The tail light itself is the only place I can think of that both signals are close
